Fall 2024 Training

5 consecutive Sundays, September 8 to October 6, 2024
2:00 to 4:00 pm PT / 3:00 to 5:00 pm MT / 4:00 to 6:00 pm CT / 5:00 to 7:00 pm ET, via Zoom

Project Resource teaches culture and systems change around financial development in the worldwide Episcopal Church. Project Resource provides teaching, focus, and adaptable resources to equip clergy and lay leaders to develop their year-round annual stewardship campaigns and to plan, ask for, and receive major gifts.

Project Resource will:

  • help your team gather the best resources to transform all areas of stewardship and explore internal narratives of money while addressing societal shifts, organizational change, and leadership challenges.

  • assist your team in interpreting the training curriculum, session by session, relative to their cultural and regional context.

  • empower participants to leave the conference with a working plan and measurable objectives tailored specifically for their own congregation.

Project Resource is not a curriculum. It is a way of understanding stewardship as a ministry, essential for the spiritual health of individuals and communities. It is a way of learning to be in right relationship to the resources in our hands.

Project Resource trainings equip stewardship teams to plan and develop year-round stewardship ministries that can be replicated and adapted for years to come. Churches that gotten the most out of Project Resource have been intentional about including their clergy, stewardship committee members, staff, and other committed lay leaders.

This comprehensive multi-week training is meant to be cost effective. Cost is $450 for a team of 3 participants; $125 for each additional participant. All costs of speakers, online materials, and follow-up coaching to participants after the event will be covered.

This multi-week training is a series of live meetings with participant interaction and breakout rooms with team-time integrated. We will record these meetings for participants who have a conflict arise, but the real benefit of Project Resource training is through active participation by team members. All videos will be provided to teams in case a team member is unable to make a training session and for teams to re-watch curriculum for continued learning.

Participants will complete the course with:

  • A year-round stewardship calendar

  • A step-by-step plan for implementing an annual campaign

  • Hands-on training on how to make personal invitations

  • Understanding of generational and individual donor motivations

  • Cultural and technological strategies in light of the pandemic
