Quotes about Project Resource Training:
“I cannot recommend PR enough! For the first time in a long time, my church feels excited and prepared to head into stewardship season this fall and beyond. Sometimes, churches can wonder whether a program will be worth the investment with so many programs out there. PR is, hands down, one of the best programs we’ve invested it. It’s not just theory, but partnership and practical steps that don’t overwhelm participants but seek to support our churches. We are so thankful for the leadership team and their ministry and encourage anyone who is around money to take it.” - The Rev. Melissa Adzima, Rector, St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Longmont, CO
“Project Resource has been a tremendous asset to transform our community. Over the past two years we've shifted our giving models and Project Resource has helped to give us new language, ideas for engagement, and move towards best practices. From 2020 to 2022 we've seen a 53% increase in pledges. We are grateful for Project Resource and look forward to the annual workshops to help us move forward as a community." - The Rev. Matt Holcombe, St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, Colorado Springs, CO
Here at Christ Church, New Bern, we have benefited tremendously from the Stewardship education and formation available through Project Resource. Project Resource started as an initiative of the College for Bishops. They use data regarding generational giving patterns to help churches craft a year-round stewardship strategy that is grounded in our common faith. It is not a cookie-cutter program but gives each parish the tools to help develop best practices for their setting. I cannot recommend it enough, especially if you are looking for a new approach to annual giving and stewardship in your parish. - The Rev. Paul Canady, Christ Church, New Bern, NC
"One of the best conferences I’ve ever participated in. Not only did I learn many new and practical ways that we can build capacity at our church but is was a moment of great spiritual renewal for me personally!" - Steve Flanery, Lay participant, Emmanuel, Rapid City, SD
"Behind all the many practical tools for us to take home with us, Project Resource digs into a deep truth: Stewardship isn’t about communities logically harvesting and spending dollar bills. This is an emotional thing for individuals in community. We’re working against an array of fears and anxieties and shames. And these things can be overcome not with logic but with joy, confidence, gratitude, and excitement. So this is something that applies to big and small communities, communities of all compositions, because at core this is about walking through the universal spiritual landscape." - The Rev. Christopher Arnold, Trinity, Diocese of Fond du Lac
