Position: Contract Workshop Presenter/Trainer - Project Resource
Organization: Contracted through the College for Bishops
Location: Various Locations (Online, but In-Person/Travel may be required)
Schedule: Part-Time, Contractual (Sunday afternoons and Tuesday evenings in both Fall and Spring, 5 weeks each session)
Overview: Project Resource seeks a dedicated and knowledgeable Contract Workshop Presenter/Trainer to join our faculty teaching team. This individual will play a crucial role in delivering stewardship training to Episcopal Churches, focusing on changing the culture of giving within these communities. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of stewardship as a ministry within the Episcopal Church and demonstrate a passion for nurturing and expanding the stewardship practices of congregations.
Key Responsibilities:
Co-teach and facilitate stewardship training curriculum in collaboration with the faculty team, ensuring participants' engaging and impactful learning experience.
Deliver presentations and training sessions, adapting content and teaching methods to suit diverse learning environments and audience needs.
Engage participants in discussions and activities that deepen their understanding of stewardship as a ministry and its critical role in the life of the Church.
Provide insights and guidance on practical strategies for enhancing the culture of giving within Episcopal Churches.
Collaborate with the teaching team to review and refine curriculum content, ensuring it remains relevant, effective, and aligned with the latest best practices in stewardship training.
Offer support and mentorship to participants and encourage the application of learned concepts in their respective congregations.
Qualifications:
Profound knowledge of stewardship principles and practices within the Episcopal Church context.
Demonstrated passion for transforming the culture of giving and a deep understanding of stewardship as a ministry.
Proven experience in delivering engaging and effective presentations and training sessions, both in-person and online.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences and foster a collaborative learning environment.
Ability to work flexibly, adapting to various teaching schedules, including Sunday afternoons and Tuesday evenings.
Prior experience in educational or training roles within faith-based organizations is highly desirable.
