Shay Craig is the Associate for Resource Development in the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago. She is charged with the annual Bishop’s Appeal campaign, chairs the diocesan legacy society and works with congregations to develop effective, sustainable models for annual giving, planned giving and human resource development. Shay spends the lion’s share of her time in collecting and sharing best practices, common challenges, and innovative resources across the 120+ congregations in the diocese. She has found that despite the diversity of our congregations, contexts and conditions, The Episcopal Church is rich in resources of every kind.
Previously, Shay was the Director of External Programs at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. She holds a Masters of Theology in Hebrew Bible and attended the first Project Resource training in 2015.
